Pink spottes goby

A dark spot has appeared on my pink/purple spotted goby. I'm not sure what this is or has caused it.

Anyone? I'm worried about this guy. He looks like he's taking deep breaths but he's not breathing fast.

Scratch that...I think he's controlling it....idiot was making me so worried and I just watched him fade the spot away and when I got closer he brought it back. -_-

I've seen them a time or two in the LFS with a dark spot, maybe it's stress-induced?

I added a Sea Hare today, but I'm not sure if that could stress him out.

maybe its a camoflaguing mechanism or a "Danger!/Get away! thing?

I think it was stress induced he's perfectly fine now. I freaked out over nothing I think.
