pls take a look at this coral beauty's eye

Found this pretty beauty at lfs, but is left eye looks flat and hazy, kind of the opposite of pop eye. What can this be and can I treat this while in qt? The fish is stunning and I want him. Also be nice to treat him instead of him dying. Thanks,

Honestly, I wouldn't buy him. But I understand why you would want to. I admire your integrity.
If you do get him, you could treat him with a broad spectrum antibiotic, I like maracyn. If its just on 1 side it is probably an injury, popeye usually affect both eyes.
Also if its just inflamed, you could hold off on the antibiotics and used epsom salt. 1 tablespoon per 10 gallon, this may clear up the inflamation as well.
Good luck if you do take him home.
