Porc wont eat

My porcupine puffer in my 125 won't eat. He also has a white powder substance (ie bigger than ick). I've put him in a QT, but he's still not eating.

SG: 1.024
Ammonia: 0
Nitrites: 0
Nitrates: .2

Any help would be great. Thanks!

one thing that helps is getting clams or mussels, open the shell for him and drop them in the tank. it is amazing how quickly they take to it. Then, you can start stuffing an empty clam shell with things like chopped up shrimp.

I've always had a lousy time with puffers even tho I love them. The last porc I had wouldn't eat for over a week. I finally got it to eat frozen krill that I laced with a garlic supplement that the local fish store sold. I hear it isn't really a proven tested method, but all I know is he didn't eat till after I started using it. Then he ate as often as I fed him.
