Purple Frilly Gorgonians

Was wondering if any one could tell me ..i bought this Purple Frilly Gorgonians ..it is shedding very badly starting to look like nothing more then a brown twig is that normal or is it dead or dying and should i remove it from my tank..thanks

Your best bet is to post the best picture you can in the sick fish/coral forum. They're great at letting you know if it is normal shedding or an OMG get it out of there event.

Yes, a pic sure would help. If it is loosing it's polyps and looking like a twig, that is a bad sign. Most gorgonias are hard to keep. A lot are deeper water species so they require cooler temps and lower light. Moderate flow is important so they can eat. Can you tell us how ong you have had it and what you feed? Any more info on your tank like water parameters, size, lighting, LR, substrate, filtration.
