I have had a pair of percs for about 2yrs. I noticed yesturday the male is gone. He is always with her, (especially in the morning). So I know he's dead. They where two of my first fish and been through alot (a major tank crash last year) I've lost quite afew fish but I really hated to lose this guy.:(

Question: Since she was one of the first fish in the tank she is very dominate of the tank, even over my large purple tang. Will she except another mate?

I cant promise accept but if you put another one in try to make it small since the female is still alive. That way things will most likely stay like it is but if you put one in the same or bigger there will probably be a battle.

BTW sorry for your loss.

NO. Alot of folks have just one clown and they do just fine. Yours will do just fine bt itself.
