My RBTA split about two months ago. Since then both have become pale and shrunk, they close up about once a day or every other day. I've been trying to nurse them back to health but nothing doing. One looks pretty bad. When I got it he was dark brown base and very bright tips. Not sure if there is anything else I can do idea?

if it split its not happy so give your specs so we can tell you its not happy

Ok, I know its not happy, but here are my specs:
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 0
pH 8.0

PO4 0

That's all I have for measurable, umm what would affect my RBTA but nothing else?

That should be enough to keep it happy. Maybe salinity either to high or low or to many up and downs.

Yea, forgot SG is 1.025-1.026 verified by Vertex refractometer with ATC. Water change is 15-20% weekly with Catalina sea water.
