How deep is your tank and size, what kind of lights....

i would never move a coral once i found it's sweet spot. the whole idea is keeping these marine creatures, not making them conform. making them happy should be your priority in my opinion.
favites don't need a lot of light ime.

24 inch marineland reef capable LED and it's a 29 gal bow front. I measure from light to sand it's about 18 inches.

I added a new/another powerhead so im thinking the flow plus the move. I am going to try and find the same amount of flow it had before.
