i have owned my reef aquarium now for about 6 months. since christmas i have lost about 8 fish (tangs) (clownfiish) (humbugs) (damsels) i only have 1 more fish alive. i dont no why they are dying. i also had 2 corals, 1 dead so i threw it out and the other wont open manymore.

all my water testing is fine altho my nitrate is 20ppm

temp - 25c

in my tank There is white cystals things on the plastic and some black/grey stuff on the sand. but not sure what it is.

i think i had whitespot/ich b4 christmas but i treated it.

i will try and upload photos.

ANY HELP I WILL REALLY APPRECIATE.

pics look like common tank things. Nitrate are borderline to high. How did you treat the ich? Where did you get your live rock? What size is the tank? What lighting?

i treated the ich with esha oodinex. my live rock came from maidenhead aquatics. i have 4 T5 or T8 fluorescent lighting tubes my tank size is 323 litres.

my skimmer was off 1week when treating the ich
