A week ago, after noticing small white spots (ich) on my reef butterfly I treated the tank (55 gallons) daily with Ich Attack. His physical symptoms seemed to have disappeared, and yesterday after a week's treatment I cleaned the tank and ended using the Ich Attack. Today, he has much more ich and I'm noticing a redish, irritated nose. It doesn't look good. None of the other fish seem to be physically in danger. Should I begin the treatment again, euthanize him, or any other suggestions. Thanks for your help.

The red area on the snout could be a sign of secondary infection, bacterial, parasitic or environmental. Please post your water parameters as well as when the last water change was performed/how much changed...

Are you seeing it anywhere else on the fish or any scale loss? Do you have a QT tank?

Cheers
Steve
