I've got a poly filter in their now that I had transferred from my main tank. Maybe I should bring another one from the main tank.

Be sure to rinse any pads in SW daily to remove organics. The build up will hinder water quality. Also FWIW, the Zeo will not be effective in a SW environment. In my research and info exchange with others, it does not perform the same ion exchange you would see in a FW environment. The Zeo becomes ammonia saturated quite quickly and then becomes a "bacterial source" as they will be attracted to the NH3. It will do more to hinder than help in this situation.

RE: Polyfilter, be sure it is a true poly pad and not simpley filter floss, they are not remotely the same.

polyfilter

Cheers
Steve
