Can coppersafe be removed with activated carbon? I made a really stupid mistake. When i saw a few spots of ick on my angel, without thinking I put a squirt of coppersafe in(deffenetly not even close to the full dose). Now i am wondering how big a mistake it really was. I am worried about my anemone and my snails.

I have a 46 gallon fowlr with one anemone, lots of snails ,a French angel, and a rock beauty. I have a wet dry filter along with a protein skimmer and activated carbon.

Any levels of copper are bad for your inverts. .25 is already a toxic level. Like the cap said, get those poly filters and get that copper out of your system.

Depends how much is in there, and how long it was allowed to settle in. Best bet is to get a copper test and check over time.

I've lost my anemone sadly, but my fish are ick free and copper levels are dropping from the carbon, and I have not lost one snail
