One of my ricordias has begun shriveling up. Does not look good. Been ok cr past 6 months, but now not so good. Frequent 30 percent water changes.

What should I be wary of? Have another about a foot over that is doing fine.

I have one that's started at times to look like he is melting but last time that happened it split so now I have two. You can try and feed it some brine shrimp with sprilina and see if it perks up. I feed mine with a syringe since I keep forgetting to get a Turkey baster

Thanks. It actually did split into two separate pieces recently. Both are small. I tried to pick up the original piece to move to different spot I tank, bit it was pretty stuck to the rock. Even though it was also still attached to the original plug.

What happens if it rips? Kill it?

I'd be very careful they are normally hardy but if you try to move it try to gently peel it from the rock
