I have a rose BTA and I just got it last week. It was beautiful!! Now it seems to have unpuffed, Is this normal??? Will it puff up again?

What are your water parameters and what type of lighting do you have? Let us know and we can help.

How long has it been deflated? As mentioned, water parameters like ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, Ph, SG and temp would be helpful. Type of lighting is also a biggie.

All the parameters are good, yesterday I had a bout with the chiller and the water got a bit warm, I don't think he liked that too much. He was pretty deflated today so I fed him a silverside and now he's puffed up again and seems to look good again.

I have 2 x 250MH for lighting

He may have been just expelling wastes. They will do that and look like they are dying, then after a bit, go back to normal.
