I have had this rBTA for right over a year now. Tonight I noticed its mouth looking like this. I'm guessing this is not a good thing, and it has never in the past done this. It does however close up for about 2 hours every afternoon, and has done this since day 1 in my tank. Is it dying?

Is it losing tissue? u have it for over a year, has this happen before?they have one mouth so eat and poop out and in from same place. Try touching the tentacles and see if its still sticky.
