I have had my star for about 4 weeks, maybe a few longer... Idk, anyway, I have noticed some chunks in it's limbs missing, and some legs denigrating, but then they grow back. it is in my 75g tank with 4in of live sand, crushed coral, only thing I could think that could be bothering it is my horseshoe crab, but it's only two inches, maybe three with the tail. But i don't think they eat star fish do they? phos 0.25, nitrate/trite-0, calc-440.

They can easily starve in captivity, you may think you are target feeding it, but it probably isn't eating what you are attempting to provide.

i only got a total of 7 crabs, they always stay on the rocks, and when i feed it i make sure it goes under it, then it's gone when it moves.
