Hi, Yesterday i buyed one little scotter blenny.

As far i can tell he is doing awesome since the first thing he did as soon as he aclimated to the tank was getting down and eat from the sand and from the rocks.

but today i found that it has some weird looking tissue filaments just next to dorsal fin.
Any idea?
Any suggestion?

He is the only one fish in my 190 GAL tank

Dragonets as a rule have very thick slime coats which could be what you are seeing. Being that they inhabit the substrate primarily, they tend to pick up debris quite easily and can get caught up and appear as something awry when it's not.

Keep an eye on it for a few days to see if it goes away on it's own. If not, post back with any details or changes. Any chance of posting a pic?

Cheers
Steve
