shrimp molt stuck in clowns mouth

so recently my cleaner shrimp has molted thing is just today I woke up and found my clarkii clown having what looks like a cleaner antena stuckin hanging out does anyone think I would hurt him if I caught him and yanked it out? its been there for about 24 hrs now...

My recommendation would be to let it deal with it on it's own. My clown had a "twig" of stiff algae stuck in its mouth for a couple days, and then it suddenly disappeared. It never seemed in any distress.

Unless you have the gift to put fish to sleep, I'm pretty sure manually removing it would injure the little guy one way or another.

Yeah it has to decay sooner or later it seems like.

I agree with Kurt, let him deal with it. He`ll be OK.

Ditto. You'll probably do more harm than good by intervening. Besides, it most likely bothers you more than the fish.
