shriveling leather

I bought a small leather frag yesterday and it looked good now today it looks darker and shriveled

What would cause this?
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 10-20
Ph 8-8.2
Temp 79
Salt 1.025

When I bought a leather it's polyps opened the day I got it. Then it closed and was shrivelled for nearly a week, my LFS told me not to worry and explained the shed (slough) sure enough it shed its murky skin and re opened, bigger and brighter than ever! I read that they do this when moved or new to a tank and sometimes just after a time they like new skin!
