Sick angel..... need some help

My gray angel has had a few patches here and their, but they have always cleared up. Today he is really bad, and im not sure what it is. IME ich is tiny dots, these seem to be more like patches. Any help as far as what it is, and a treatment would be great. None of my 4 tangs, or other fish have any spots. Heres a pic TIA

Most likely bacterial, I would QT and treat with a broad spectrum antibiotic.

So cleaner species wouldn't help him at all? Will copper help?

I doesn't look like velvet to me, I've not seen any pics of velvet at that distance and angle where you could actually see it.

Copper will be effective if it is an external parasite that is adversly effectewd by copper, if it is backterial, it will have no effect.

I thought it looked like it was making scales fall off...but six said they werent. Seeing as new sand was brought in recently, from the ocean, I thought possibly a parasite that is causing a secondary bacterial infection.

Would a FW dip help any? Or should I just set up a 10 gal with new water and do hypo, and some copper? Do I need to worry about having any bacteria in their so it dosen't go into a cycle? Or should I just let him ride it out, hes eating and acting normal. Sorry for all the questions, but ive never treated a fish before.

Looks like a bad fungal infection. Are the patches raised off the fish?

Cheers
Steve
