its almost like a carmel colored transparent coating all over his body. his eyes have it too. my other fish are fine but for some reason he has it and aso he keeps swimming on the top of the tank. he swims almost with his fins exposed all day.

Can you get a pic of it? I wondering if it is Amyloodinium occelatum (marine velvet)

. It will look like a white powdery look on the clown. Not like the other type ick. This ick is refered to as clownfish ick.

If he dont have a white powdery look then I would look at the bacterial section of those links I sent you. Esp. if you have tail/fin rot.

just to update i got my water tested and everything was perfect amonia 0 nitrates low i need a water change i was told but the guy said everything was pretty much perfect. so i guess its time to restock.
