Sick blue hippo tang?

My tang has developed this white patch on one side. Have had him for 2 weeks now drip acclimated 3 hrs. No aggression in the tank it's roommates all like him and get along. 125g reef with 40g refugium. Ph 8.4, nitrite 0, ammonia 0, nitrates 50 (working on that with water changes) it is still eating like a pig and swimming happily with everyone else. Just worried about the discoloration. I do not QT as I don't have one setup yet.
Thanks for the help!

No it doesn't resemble ich. If you look at the picture it's that white hazy patch near the dorsal fin right behind the eye.

looks like a bacterial infection.... it normally means your hippo tang's immune system isn't that great.

Easy way to fix though..... just marinate the food your feeding him/her with bioviv or some sort of vitamin supplements and that'll build up the immune system and hopefully fix it up
