Yes. It does not excrete mucus like mushroom or things like it. Just snip it off.

I thought it didnt? If you already cut it, do a water change and make sure it didn't get near any other corals. If you didn't then try to take out the rock and frag it.

It's a colt coral

It will secrete a toxin that can bother other corals. Take it out and then frag it
