Sick coral?

I bought a leather coral about 18 months ago and never had any problems, now he stays smooth all the time. What am I doing wrong?

Any changes in the tank recently? New additions, changes in lighting or water flow? how are your water parameters (please list)?

Leather corals do not RTN in the truest sense of what the word means although they can necros and erode away rather quickly. RTN is something that literally happens within hours.
