I received an orange fromia star from LiveAquaria.com yesterday. I drip-acclimated him for 5 hours, and let him in the tank.
When I did that, all 5 arms started to curl. Then slowly they all moved back down.
This morning I looked inside the tank. It's on the bottom, upside-down, with the tip of one arm on a piece of LR
. A tiny orange nub from one arm is lying right next to him.
There is nothing else in the tank except a false percula clown, a cleaner shrimp, a peppermint shrimp, and 6 very tiny blue-let hermits.
Do I just wait and see what happens? If one leg weren't attached I'd try righting him.
