sick naso tang :(

look at my sick naso tang he has ich. a beautiful fish that doesn't have a long time to live left. i have been feeding him medication and garlic extract and seaweed for a week to try and help him but nothing has changed. if not its getting worse. i lost my blue powder tang to ich too

Take out saltwater and replace it with just regular RO/DI water.

Hey mate, as Kio said, replace it with freshwater until salinity is 20 ppt, then increase it back to nornal at 1 ppt / day. Not sure is you have a separate tank as quarantine, which would also work with copper citrate.

To get rid of the ick, u need to lower it to 1.009 for 6-8 weeks. It'll kill corals and inverts at that low, but will save ur fish.

I would qt it and do low salinity to get rid of it.
