Sick Naso Tang- Help clueless

i am not sure what is wrong with my Naso tang. He is a quiet fellow and is usually in a spot he has found in our rock work. Today he was hiding in a differant spot in a cave rick we have. Now, I am not the aquarium expret, my husband is closer to that title. I feed this morning and he didn't come out. So I tried moving the rock he was in. He was actually sort of caught in a edge on the bottom of a rock. with a little coaxing he came out, but he just layed in the sand and was still curved like the shape of the rock. My husband asked me to get a smaller tank and set it up and quarentine him. I did which mind you was not easy to dig through storage, drag home and set up.. I have never set up an aquarium before. I used water from the larger tank. he is still not swimming and just laying there. I have looked up ick and dont think that is it since i read yellow tangs are usually the first to show it before Naso tangs, and the yellow tang is doing spendid. Any ideas? I hope to have some pics soon.
