Hello,

We've had our pink bubble tip anenome for over a year. It has grown quiet a bit but seems to really be struggling lately. The last week or so the guts sometimes are falling out of its mouth and it has reduced in size dramatically. Something is not right, please help with any advice...I don't know if he is going to make it much longer :(

pH: ~8.3
water temp: 80 F
Ammonia: .1
KH: 14
No3: 5
salinity 1.023

Lights: 130w 10,000K and 130w Blue Actinic

The lights are off now; should I turn them on for a longer period the next few days? We feed the anenome frozen brine shrimp once a week or so...should I feed him every day?

Thanks for any advice!

How come you have .1 ammonia? Something recently added to the tank? What type of lighting is it? If its t5 it is time to change the bulbs, old bulbs change the spectrum of light your anemone needs so that could be it?
