sick yellow tang?????? HELP

My yellow tang's right eye looks cloudy, his right pectoral fin looks like it has something IN it NOT bugs, and his left gill looks like he has scrathced all of his yellow off right at that area. BUT........... he is eating well and very active. I have live rock and soon to add inverts. I need advice!!!

Being this is a newly set up tank, it might still be too young for the likes of a tang. A 50 gal tank is also on the small side for this fish species in general.

Please post the water specs, age of set up and any additional info you can about the tank. Sounds like a simple injury has elevated into what could be a bacterial problem and/or possibley poor diet. Please also post what you are feeding and how often.
