Weird they are pretty hardy fish and usually always survive beginners mistakes can u take a side pic of the fish so I can see it a lil better

He's stopped gasping for oxygen now, now hes just in a corner swimming into the glass and sometimes swims up about a foot from the substrate then just falls back down. And I mean FALL like it seems like he's scraping his belly when he falls back down, he also swims against the glass, he smashes into the ground and live rock....

Okay but he doesn't have any pimple like things on his body, just scratches from bumping into things...

Just doesn't look like iCh looks like ammonia ate up his scales and took his color poor fish must be stressed do u have a qt?

Yeah I think I my ammonia spiked up randomly... I don't have a qt

Well water change ASAP lock up the ammonia u shud be testing ur water more frequently as spikes can happen at any given moment especially this early in the game

My tests all come back all at 0 ammonia, nitrite and a little nitrate (not enough to do damage)
