I was using reef crystals but I just ran out so I will be using regulat instant ocean from now on.

After seeing the high calcium I do plan to stop dosing that until it gets back into check. I will contine with the alkalinity though as that still seems to be low.

Be wary how quickly you switch over. Using new salt can often wreek havock on chemistry and stress corals. More commonly it impacts more sensitive sessile inverts but it can stress them all equally.

Actually 3 mEq/l is just fine. There's no benefit to a higher alkalinity unless experiencing unmanagable pH or nuisance alages. I generally recommend 2.8-3.25 on average, higher can just lead to additional problems.
