We got him about three weeks ago, All was fine... tentacles extended. This week we noticed the tentacles had disappeared. Kinda weird. I'm feeding him daily a couple of shrimp balls...he seems to enjoy that. Does anyone know what might have happened to his tentacles...and will
they come back??? Thanks!!!

If you've been feeding him daily, he's probably full! I would hold off for a couple days and see if he puts the tentacles back out.

One thing with Plate corals too that you should know. If it does die sometime down the road, don't throw it away. Plate corals will reproduce after death. My fav LFS has a corpse of one that has about 20 baby Plates streaming off if it, it's unreal!!
I hope it doesn't happen, but if it does, it could come back with a fury!!
I, in NO way, think you are in danger now, but thought you should know.
Best of luck with your tank! :)
