snail question

hello I have a question regarding snails. I have a couple of grazer snails in my tank. I don't have much algae in the tank for them to graze on, however. My question is can I give them romain lettuce or something for them to feed on? If the don't eat romain, what can I give them so they don't starve?

In short No you cant use that for your snails .You can get some supplimentals such as dried algea wafers ect tho most will find excess foods to eat herbavore foods

I agree with the algea wafers. But also they will find food in the tank. There are many types of algea in the tank and on the glass. There`s more there than you think.
