Snowflake eel has worm looking things by his nostrals

From what I can tell it looks like a parasite... If it were me I'd try to remove them ...or qt him and treat him for parasites..

How should I go about removing them

I would try and use some plastic tweezers ..I have never seen this with any of my eels I was hoping someone else on hear would chim in also...
