im just wondering what would be the best food for my eel, i feed him shrimp but in the last two days i havent seen him eat.... any other foods they like to eat? is he getting sick? what should i do?

What type of shrimp are you using? Raw? Youcould also try offering him silversides and krill. Maybe mix it up a bit.

it is not uncommon for a snowflake to go several days between meals. You will find that they usually eat better for you if you do not feed them every day. Every other day or even every third day will work well.

is he in a tank with other fish ? i feed my eel every 2-3 days,when he gets hungry he will come out and swim around the tank like crazy, i have 2 groupers in thier too so they all get shrimp,silversides and krill and thier doin good.

i offer every 2-3 days, offering food on different schedules is the best approach.. IMO
