Sponges problem?

I noticed a part of my sponge that has a little white in one corner does this mean it is dying? It has not touched any air at all and has been in the tank for 2 months and is in a dark part of the tank. Any Ideas? Thanks

From experience, yeah, that would mean it's dieing. Not really much you can do. Here is some info on sponges and thier illnesses.

Whith all the coral population you have, I would check if there is any of them near. There should be at least 4" between corals and personally I like over 6" of separation between them... It might be, but thay can always recuperate never lose faith...
