SPS Problem!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I recently noticed a few red spots on and acro frag that i have. Is it a parasite? I blasted them off with a turkey baster over a buket and did that untill i didn't see anymore. What the heck is it. It is only on one of my frags. WEll was for now. If it is a parasite will it spred to other SPS? And if so how do i kill it?

Nope that is the only Cure... Other than that you have no other method.. It has been pretty well tested and seems to me safe as long as you follow the directions carefully.. I repeat there is really no other way to rid your tank of them... I would talk with the person you got that frag from and let them know as well.. There is alot of people following that process for ridding them safely..

I got it from a lfs almost 2 moths ago. That is the only frag that they are on. After i used the turkey baster there were no more on it. Will it spred? So just taking that one frag out will probably not help it huh? OMG . But the frag seems ok. No loss of color polyps always coming out and actually it has gotten alot better color since i got it. I am at a loss for words. Why the bad luck lately. First the problem with my clam. ( whick is better now) and now this. AHHHHHHHHHHHH..

Most of the time people miss them as they come in as just a few microscopic eggs and hatch within the aquaria.. They multiply very rapidly until you can see them.. I am sorry about that and I know that alot and I mean alot of people have had issues with them... The cure method has been something that many many have waited for a long long time for.. I know that there is even a few locals around here that have used it without issues... Haveing them could/will eventually irritate the all the acros you have killing them..

HTH and again Sorry,
James
