i have a yellow Seriatopora sp (bird's nest). Its tip as usual are all brighter coloration which almost white, and the yellowish "skin" suround the skele everywhere else except the tip.
Today I saw one of tip extended itself(the area of the white color increased) and I am just wondering if the skele is dying(bleaching) or is it just how SPS
I am kinda new to SPS
so wish to gather some info on how they actrually grow?I was hoping the white thing is just the normal extend of its main skele and the yellow skin might grow to the top to cover the extra white area.
PS:by white i mean really light yellowish color).
Calcium is at 470, PH
is between 8.2-8.3
It is right under the 175w 14000k MH
Thanks for the help.
