Help!!!

I have a panther grouper that decided to jump ship!! I was watching TV just now and he jumped out of the aquarium. I heard him flapping around on the table. I scouped him up and put him back into the tank. He swam to the corner for a while and then he came out to feed on some mysis shrimp. I'm still worried though. He has some dark stripes on his lateral line on either side and he isn't moving as much as he used to. Is there anything I can do to ease his pain? I just covered up the open areas of the hood... Help me!!

Thanks

Thik about it this way:

Measure the fish.
Measure the distance he fell.
calculate the number of body lengths that he fell.

Think about how you would feel if you fell that number of body lengths. The differential in momentum allows the fish to survive. But i'm sure you wouldn't be yourself for a few days.
