Ive got this larger clown to pair with my smaller one recently and didn't notice this at first but hes got some black spots in the bottom as well as some black "fade" or so that outline the gill right above the radial fins. Its mainly noticeable on the side shown. Just wondering if you guys have any thoughts on what it could be or if its just normal

The black fade isn't something to be worried about. Some clowns go from orange to black. (Someone correct me on this if I'm wrong and they are black from birth). As for the spots they might be connected to the fade but I don't really know.

My tomato clown has turned dark the last few years but I dont think it`s anything to worry about.
