Tips for introducing new clam in tank

Hey guys i just bought my first clam. Its a 5 in maxima and wantes to know if i should dip it in some type of dip like you would a coral? Or should i just add to the tank after acclimating?

I’d check really well for pyramedial snails on the bottom of the clam. Other than that coral dip doesn’t really kill any clam pests. Acclimate and in it goes. But definitely check for the snails as they’re the #1 clam killer
