Hey guys, bought this recently. I was wondering what this green stuff was on it. It hasnt opened really, and i was wondering if i should move it? Any recommended spots for this type of coral? My lighting is 2 bulb PC btw

hard to say. medium light and flow would be my suggestion. I can't see it in the tank pic. Where is it? Is that it on the very top? if so, I'd move it down to about mid level.

Thanks for the response! It opened up a few times, but hasent opened in a few days. And it is on the left side near the powerhead, but the powerhead is farther back. It does get a good amout of flow... Maybe too much?

If the power head is pointed directly toward it, it may be stressing it.
You want the polyps to jiggle every so often but not be in a constant flow.
here is a video of my new tank. You can see the long polyp toadstool in the beginning.....

Alright thanks mr. X. So we should move it right? Where do you think it should go? Hopefully the tank shot is ok, i will attatch another. What do you think the green stuff is? Bleaching?
