Torch expelling zooxanthellae

Just watched my torch coral expel zooxanthellae. ( Ot at least i think it Did, it was a bunch of brown goo) I've only had it for two days. If zooxanthellae are expelled does that mean it is going to die? Or is it ok for it to expel some? I attached a picture, it's the back head that did it. After it released it, it has already started to open back up.

Parameters today:

Temp: 79
Salinity: 1.024
Ammonia:0
Nitrites: 0
Nitrates: 15-20
Alkalinity: 11

Tank is 5 gallons. 1 month old. Has been cycled for 2 weeks. I did however just get a new par38 2 days ago as well. Is it too close to the tank?

It might survive, and it might not. I have never had a LPS frag live after this happens, but others have. I see 2 issues: high nitrates, and potentially the light being such a big jump from whatever you used previously. The light could be more of an issue. You might move it over to the right for awhile and slowly move it towards the light over a period of a couple of weeks.
