wall frogspawn has spot

Looks healthy. I doubt it will grow new polyps where it died off because that tissue is just dead. Once its stable for a while I would try to cut the dead part off if its reachable and overly bothersome.
 
how did u dip the coral im just wondering and did u use regular iodine

luckily the guy i brought the tank from gave me all kinds of stuff and one of them was iodine for dipping corals
 
I have a very large frogspawn that once had jelly disease .. i took new sheers fraged the heads that were infected.... was fine after that didn't have to dip... the never grew back but its grow so large now you would never have noticed.
 
its a wall frogspawn not branching so cutting it would be a little harder
 
i may just leave its not spreading so there really isnt any reason for me to cut it is there?
 
Not if it's not spreading.. i think you did it at the right time... once it has died off just trim it down.. I've seen poeple use those model knifes that are super sharp to frag...i wouldn't see why you couldn't frag the die off once its dead.
