Water heater cooked my fish. Real bad

Hello everyone.
Joined this forum to alert everyone that Marineland stealth heaters are bombs
Just found out the hard way
And after reading your threads I see you already know
I lost alot of livestock tonight due to a cracked heater that's only months old
My LFS sold me the unit in Jan 2011
2 bad heaters in a row
Pretty pissed about it
Flushed many of my babies tonight
Nursing the rest of them
Lots are MIA and haven't been able to transfer them into second tank
Most likely hiding in some Live rock
THE HEATER SPLIT AND THE WATER WAS ACTUALLY BOILLING UP THE SIDE OF IT
98.9 DEGREES
Marineland is getting a call in the morning

is it out of line to ask the manufacture to replace live stock this is deff not an isolated inicident. for a new heater try aqueon pro its what im useiin accurate to +-1°
