Weird damselfish behavior!??

My poor little damsel has a little rip in his right pelvic fin. I observed my percula clownfish trying to nip him. Could the rip in the damsels fin be from the clownfish? Or something else? The damsels been doing this weird thing...today was the first time I noticed it.
