What in the world is this... Lfs didnt even know

Seems to be "sucking the life" out of my trumpet. It's connected to the spine, thinking to scrape it off. ..

I had the same thing. Actually have thread a ways back about it. It was the consensus that it was some kind of feeding tentacle. I left it alone and mine were way longer then that and I had about 4. Never did anything and just kinda went away one day.

Looks like the tube to a mini feather duster. Is it hard to the touch? I have tons of them on my live rock
