What's growing on my Royal Gamma?

Hey Gang,

I just added a Royal Gamma to my 30 gallon tank about 2 weeks ago, and recently it developed a "patch" on it's back on which his color is faded. I snapped a few pictures with my phone tonight...

Any ideas what this is? Is it ich? Will this harm the other fish? (two clowns and two yellow tailed damsels)

No its not ick. It could be a fungus. Get pimafix and melafix and treat with those. Will help if its an open sore or fungus. Read the instructions. GL!!!!!

I had a damsel that had something kinda like that. It was from a rock falling on him during a tank swap. Ur gramma coulda rubbed against a rock.
