I purchased a medium sized anemone for my 75 gallon reef tank. The tank is about 6 months old and full of a variety of corals and other invertebrates... just a few fish. It was brilliantly white when I bought it and now it is kind of dingy brown... I just have a coral life compact light system... I heard that if the nitrates are too high it can bother anemones..
my nitrates are around 25.... everything else in the tank seems to be doing well... I even have a beautiful green bubble tip that has been in the tank longer and looks better than when I bought it... any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Sounds ike a very unhealthy anemone getting more healthy. There are few or no anemones that are natually a brilliant white ;) 97% of the time brilliant white = bleached.

Anenome man i thinks its the other way around its gaining the symbiotic algea,

My flowerpot was like this but i slowly realized it was just getting healthier
