About two days ago I noticed a couple of white spots on my black clown, but then later on in the day they weren’t there. Today I came home and he was covered in them. Any idea what this is and how to treat it?

Looks like ich or white spot disease. Set up a qt and get some medication, I believe what I used to use was cupramine, and leave the main tank fallow for 10 weeks

This morning the clown looks as thought it’s detierorated massively, is there anyway to treat this?

Ya, you set up a qt tank and treat with medication and leave the main tank fallow for 10 weeks. Do not treat the main tank or you’ll never be able to keep inverts again. How many fish are in the system and how big is it?

Red here is giving you really the only cure for ich. The 'herbal remedies' that 'build up the slime coat' aren't a fix and never work. You're at a point where your fish is quite sick and most likely won't make it at this point. The only thing you can do is try and hope for the best.
