why cant i keep turbos alive??!?!?!?

last week i bought 4 fairly large turbos from the lfs and 3 of the 4 died the next day...i did a 2 hour drip acclimation on them...then yesterday i bought 2 more from another lfs and 1 died and they arent moving around much at all and dont seem to be eating any of the algae off my sand or glass....my tank is doing awsome and all other life is doing great....ammonia:0 nitrites:0 nitrates:less than 10 ph:8.0

the larger mexican turbos prefer cooler water...what is the tank temp?

mine where the smaller type...starts with an A ( cant remember the name) i keep the temp at 80F
